THIS WHAT HAPPENED WHEN I SAW MY FIRST CRUSH: I made a synopsis of it in a poem. Love and Bullet ***** Going somewhere, getting nowhere one step forward, one step back. Trapped between past and future totally missing present track. An angelic spirit, wing span apart, spoke same language as my heart..... Worried my song was anything of merit, No exceptional genes did I inherit, Trepidation taunted; would she accept? with fear of loss, took that first step! Ignoring all risks, ventured into the unknown, pushing aside brambles in a forest overgrown. Frustration arose like acrid fountain in my throat; Like that elusive banana amidst famished monkeys, like man without a boat, crossing treacherous moat! My heart’s expedition: I am that bad hunter, missing your heart anytime I shoot. Your warm breath, melting a man’s heart like summer’s ice cream. Would I ever win this race for your love? Where it will forever be about us in my dreams! Trapped between peace and war that journey to you seems unending. I feel you are the ransom wind of love; That keeps incubating, my half-dead heart. Your every thought guides by blinded senses to skip the thorns in the roses, Your shadow becomes the spell, That wakes me up in the midnights with our names married together on my cell. My love story can’t be told without being lost by your beautiful architecture… If I were a flower, in her hand, I would boast of being the most cherished garden in the world, Where her every tear will forever nourish me. I had to tarry several nights alone, While she was gone. With no wings to fly… My inner being sung a little song for her; Deja vu to its beat and rhythm, I danced to the tune of my own world. I am not a fan of promises I promise to make one journey for you ‘I will cross the world for another like you’ With happy tears, I sigh and say I can’t wait Just one more day?
