THIS is Robs doctor featured in this Eye on KELOLAND report. He is the one who chose to take on Robs case when he did not even have to. He IS private practice. He does not need to take call and sure as heck did not need to be there waiting for Rob in the OR when he was transported from Britton, South Dakota via ambulance straight to Sioux Falls, South Dakota. He is the the doctor who is behind my husbands continued recovery. This doctor calls Rob Brother and friend. He texts and calls... He is the doctor who has asked Rob to speak to other amputees and those who are disfigured by catastrophic injury in conjunction with him. THIS is the doctor who wants Robs story to be shared from beginning to end from the OR to the prosthetic and then onwards past that to getting him as active as he once was pre-injury. This doctor will not be cool with licking a wound and calling it good. THIS doctor will be there every step of the way to push him above and beyond anything my husband may have ever imagined post injury. This doctor has given us hope and faith and we are beyond blessed. So when you are praying for us please pray for Dr. Tim LeeBurton. He is like no other doctor I have ever met.
