THOSE WHO DISOBEY THE MOST HIGH NOW: THIS IS YOUR FATE ------------TAKEN FROM KJV 1611 BIBLE WITH APOCRYPHA---------------- (2 Esdras 7:75-87) 0 Lord, show this also to your servant: whether after death, as soon as every one of us yields up his soul, we will be kept in rest until those times come when you will renew the creation, or whether we will be tormented at once? And he answered, Now, concerning death, the teaching is: When the decisive decree has gone forth from the Lord that a man shall die, as the spirit leaves the body to return again to him who gave it, first of all it adores the glory of the Lord. And if it is one of those that have shown scorn and have not kept the way of the Lord, and who have despised his law, and have hated those that fear God, such spirits will not enter into habitations, but will immediately wander about in torments, ever grieving and sad, in seven ways. The first way, because they have scorned the law of God. The second, because they can not now make a good repentance so that they may live. The third, they will see the reward laid up for those that have trusted the covenants of God. The fourth, they will consider the torments laid up for themselves in the last days. The fifth, they will see how the habitations of the others are guarded by angels in deep quiet.The sixth, they will see how some of them will pass over into torments. The seventh, which is greater than all the ways that have been mentioned, because they will utterly waste away in embarrassment and be consumed in shame, and will wither with fear at the sight of the glory of the Lord before whom they have sinned while they were alive, and before whom they are to be judged in the last times. Now youve seen what awaits the wicked after death, but what about those that have striven to keep Gods ways? Not only will they have great joy in their final days and moments before passing away into their final sleep, but to know when they awake they will be free from the constraints of these mortal bodies, and immortality in a life full of joy as the sons of the Most High when awakened.
