THOUGHT FOR NOW- Robert A. Heinlein (1907-1988) said, When any government, or any church (religion) for that matter, undertakes to say to its subjects, This you may not read, this you must not see, this you are forbidden to know, the end result is tyranny and oppression no matter how holy the motives. As a young man this is what I found repulsive about the different religions because it appeared to me that I was told what I cannot do instead of what I can do. My perception was that they would say that our way is the right way and if you dont worship this way then you are going to Hell. It seems that all religions teach that man is separated from God, and our way is the only way to get back to God. Needless to say I was probably the biggest hypocrite. Today I know I have a personal one-on-one relationship with my creator, whom I choose to call God and what anyone else wants to do is fine with me.- THINK ABOUT IT
