THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: A couple days ago I heard Steve Scalise, Republican Congressman and House Whip (the third highest rank in congress) is being attacked and told he must resign from Congress because he gave a speech at a meeting of EURO (European-American Unity and Rights Organization) in 2002, which at the time was headed up by former KKK Grand Wizard David Duke. My question is; does this mean every Democrat who served with Robert C. Byrd must resign effective immediately? Robert C. Byrd - Democrat - West Virginia was elected to the House of Representatives in 1953 and served there until 1959 when he was elected to the Senate and served there from 1959 until 2010. Prior to being elected to Congress he was unanimously elected to hold the position of Exalted Cyclops which was the top spot in his local KKK (Ku Klux Klan) and he was also the top recruiter.
