THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Work, Work, Work Work can be fulfilling, but it can also be the cause of great frustration. The Bible helps put those bad times in perspective. Scripture says, work is honorable, no matter what kind of occupation you have. Honest toil, done in a joyful spirit, is like a prayer to God. Colossians 3:23 says Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters In whatever walk of life you are in, in whatever job or task that you do, do it as unto the Lord. Sometimes we may work for someone who is not honorable or of high quality in character. Satan might try to convince us to act like a sluggard or to be lazy as many of our co-workers are. Don’t give in to that mindset. Be the best worker you can be. Your hard work and diligence are not really for your employer but for the Lord.
