THOUGHT ID SHARE THIS WITH YOU GUYS......IT DEMONSTARTES HOW THIS ALL WORKS! Candidates for seats in the Maryland General Assembly were endorsed recently by vote of the Maryland Horse Council Board of Directors. This is the first time in MHC history that they have endorsed candidates for office. The endorsement decisions were based on a number of things including the candidate’s support for MHC and their issues and concerns….Among them, equestrian training and competition facilities, farmland preservation, the thoroughbred industry, breeders and racing and their opposition to Sunday hunting and attendance at MHC events…. Since this is “the first time in history” they have endorsed candidates I guess eventually they will get the ‘hang’ of endorsements when they learn that Democrats go against everything they supposedly believe in. And it is glaring that they didnt even stick to their own vetting RULES by choosing people that didnt even bother to partake in the process.... As I read the list of “endorsements” I was not so let down that they did not endorse me as much as I was upset that they didn’t endorse ‘any new’ candidate and the ones they chose where the same old, same old……for the most part! Of the big-time endorsement list, there was only two Republicans (who actually know something about the subjects they focused on - Jennings and Aumann) but I could not ignore the fact they endorsed 12 other candidates; all Democrats! (Including Busch & Miller)…what a joke! They could only find 14 candidates in the entire state and not one of the new candidates to acknowledge (and I participated in their vetting process!! READ MY ANSWERS TO THEIR SURVEY AT THE LINK BELOW)….This says a lot about the ability of this organization to protect or manage the very subjects, people and areas of interest they are responsible for. By the way I was one of the first to submit my interview questionnaire…..and doesn’t it seem strange that of the 14 they chose to endorse only ONE of them actually completed the questionnaire?
