THOUGHT/QUESTION OF THE DAY: Today I guess its more of a question on my part because I have seen quite a bit of bickering taking place. Some people even calling it being racist towards certain ethnic groups. While I havent read into the details, the term Voter ID seems as if it would be a simple enough concept. If you are an American Citizen you should have no problem producing a legal form of identification such as a drivers license or Social Security number. Of course there will be fraud involved, but if the penalties were strict enough, much more of the criminal activity than we are seeing now just might be detoured. And how could being asked to produce a legal form of ID be construed as being racist towards anyone living as a legal citizen in the United States? Is it possible that any one of the many political parties in the United States might find it in their favor to just let illegal voting take place? At this point I say One Legal U.S. issued ID - One Vote. Any thought?
