THOUGHT i WOULD GIVE IT ANOTHER SHOT AT ITV MERIDIAN NEWS Good afternoon I would like the opportunity to make you aware of the issues Islanders are having with Vodafone on the Isle of Wight. We are currently into our 5th day of no service in the Newport area and this has been the 5-6th breakdown in the last 12 months. Vodafone are the only company not currently supplying 3g to the Newport area and in fact struggle to give a decent 2g coverage. Islanders are fed up and have in response set up a face book page called (Islanders for a Proper Vodafone Service) We want to know why we don`t have decent 2g coverage when Vodafones competitors do and why when they are rolling out 4g we dont have decent 3g. Although we pay the same rates as anyone else in the country. The Local Vodafone shop have their own booster in the shop how else would they be able to sell 3g phones only they don`t advise customers there is no 3g.....Bit naughty dont you think?
