THOUGHTS ON OUR SPIRIT (10-31-14). OUR SPIRIT AND ITS RELATION TO THE PHYSICAL BODY: 1. The following gland is the Pancreas, which produces the hormone insulin that regulates the sugar in the blood cells. Insulin balances the sugar in the body tissues. 2. When the Pancreas gland does not produce enough insulin, sugar builds up in the blood and the person suffers from Diabetes, one of the diseases that kill more people in the world. 3. Through our conscience, that dwells in our spirit, we must pay close attention to the Pancreas gland, so that we have a well balanced diet of what we eat and dont end up suffering from Diabetes.
