THREE HUNDRED! THREE HUNDRED BACKERS, GUYS! THAT WAS MY DREAM NUMBER! Im going to have to upgrade my dreams! Oh my gosh, this is VERY exciting! VERY! EXCITING! 300 backers and the Redeemer Chronicles Kickstarter is nudging €9K now; another 600 will offset a useful-sized chunk of hiring a professional editor, which--its totally silly, but that excites me. Im a pretty good writer, and I turn in pretty solid drafts, but invariably my editors have questions and insights that leave me wondering why on *earth* I couldnt see that myself, and always improve the books. And Ive got the copy editor sorted out, and Im talking to someone about digital file conversion, and I have the cover artist lined up! Oh my gosh, this is starting to get so real! EEEE! EEEEEEEEE!!! Oh my gosh, oh my gosh. Okay, okay, Im going to DREAM BIG! Five days left! In my big dream I will have 350 backers! 10 a day! We can get the word out to 10 more people (who are interested in and able to support a kickstarter) a day, right? Yeah! We can do that! oh my gosh. im just going to get increasingly incoherent over the next five days, i can tell. there was actually a point in the NO DOMINION campaign where i was so overwhelmed by reader enthusiasm and trust that i simply burst into tears. im feeling a little of that right now, honestly. ♥
