Before they accept you, they’ll first check to see who else does. Paul says, “Know them which labour among you” (1 Thess. 5:12). When it comes to the cautious, love them but do not build your life on them. 3) The committed. These are the people Solomon talks about in Proverbs 17:17. “A friend loveth at all times and a brother is born for adversity.” There’s an old adage that says. ‘In the good times, our friends know us, in the bad times, we know our friends.’ If you have even a handful of committed friends, you are truly blessed, for they’ll stand by you at all times. They are not just strong in faith, they are strong in fight. They are born for adversity. Protect these relationships; nurture them, for without them, you cannot reach your God given destiny.
