I am very glad to offer my paintings to the highest bidder! Funny how good it feels to put 40 bucks in my wallet and know that my painting is hanging on the wall with Johns other great art! It is such an honor to be counted as Johns friend. I was riding on a bus many years ago when I happen to strike up a conversation with a woman sitting next to me. She started talking about her health problems and happened to mention the miracle Doctor that saved her life. Imagine my surprise when she said she came from Plattsburgh, and that her doctors name was Homer! She couldnt believe it when I said we were old friends. And believe me it isnt just about the cash. To have an art lover like John pick my painting to add to his great art collection makes all the many sacrifices of the artistic life worth every lonely hour.
