THROW BACK THURSDAY! Take a look at the beautiful Mary Jo England, with none other than Mike Dentino! Also pictured below, Mary Jo in CSTs 1960s version of Guys and Dolls as Adelaide, and with 2014s Miss Adelaide, Kim Kaufman! Mary Jo has been active at CST since the early days - she was a fabulous dancer and performer. She has played opposite of many of CSTs big names - Mike Dentino, Jack Steenrod, John Parkhurst, and countless more. In later years, she began directing and was often selected to direct the Season Openers - she had a huge following of volunteers who wanted to work with her, be in her shows, and help on her production team. Mary Jo also served on countless committees and Boards. People are drawn to her because of her gentle, kind manners, but also because of her love of quality productions. Today, she spends part of the year in warmer climates with her wonderful husband Bill, but she still gets out to see the occasional show at CST. She is a Corn Stock treasure! Mary Jo embodies what it means to be a Gretchen Iben Award recipient: dedicated, passionate, generous, optimistic, talented, and devoted to Corn Stock for decades and decades...and decades.
