THROW-BACK THURSDAYS On April 5, 2007 at 4:35am, the Willoughby Police were called to True North Shell Gas Station, 34802 Ridge Road, for an aggravated robbery. The clerk reported that a tall, thin black male with a thin mustache approached him and shoved a knife into his hip and demanded cash from the register. The suspect advised the clerk that if he did not comply, he would stab him really bad. The suspect then took off running out of the store. Officers arrived on the scene and searched the immediate area diligently without success. Officers followed footprints in the snow near CVS Pharmacy where a 14 long serrated kitchen knife was found in the snow. Other evidence was collected from the scene. Attached is video surveillance from the store; unfortunately the quality can not be improved. If you recognize the suspect or have heard of information regarding this incident, you can message our FB page or call the Willoughby Police Detective Bureau at 440-953-4210. Your help would be greatly appreciated in solving this cold case. Thank you.
