THROWBACK THURSDAY: A fine 1904 rendition from Master Castrato Alessandro Moreschi performing Leybachs Pie Jesu in honor of our uninvolved electorate who chose to step aside and allow the country to be kicked back some 50 years. Also it should serve a fitting welcome to our Congressional Castrati, (both newly and re-elected) for their victorious run in the 2014 elections. They now belong to the Oligarchs and Plutocrats who paid billions to snip and pocket their Yam Bags for a gaggle of sweet soprano voices to assure that the fix is in. Unlike the three to four thousand castrations a year in the heyday of Opera, the numbers today are closer to 500, (most of whom reside within the house , and senate of the U.S. Congress.) The Operatic Castrati, were famous for their singing, but were also detested,and hated for their appearance, presentation, and smell, just like our Representative Castrati are today! We witness the end of capitalism, and the band plays on! Bravo!
