THROWN OUT ON THE STREET BY AN OWNER WHO NO LONGER WANTED ME…. THEN, I WAS HIT BY A CAR… I am a little boy called Azaria. No longer wanted by my owner, I was suddenly thrown out on the street one day. I ran around desperately trying to find my owner and when I ran into traffic, I was hit by a car. My owner’s neighbour saw what had happened and called Soi Dog. I was lucky I was picked up straight away by Animal Rescue Officer Khun Jaroon. I was in so much pain. Since being treated here at the shelter, I am getting a bit better each day. I can stand and walk on all four legs without any problems and my wounds are gradually healing. I think of myself as one of the lucky ones, even after everything that happened to me. You see, it is only thanks to some special Soi Dog supporters that I was saved. These people are called the Emergency Response Team. As you read this, there are still other dogs and cats out there that desperately need to be saved too. They are sick or injured; they have been abused or abandoned, just like me. These animals have nobody to turn to. YOU are their only hope.
