THRUST REDUCTION ALTITUDE At the thrust reduction altitude, ”LVR CLB” flashes on the FMA. When manual flying, lower slightly the nose, as applicable, to anticipate the pitch down FD order. Bring the thrust levers back to CLB detent. The A/THR is now active (A/THR on the FMA changes from blue to white). The FD pitch down order depends upon the amount of thrust decrease between TOGA or FLX and CLB. If takeoff was performed packs OFF, the packs will be selected back to ON after thrust reduction because of the potential resulting EGT increase. They will be preferably selected sequentially to improve passenger’s comfort.
