THUNDERSTORM FORECAST - VICTORIA Unfortunately the team havent been able to update the thunderstorm forecasts for today, however here is a quick wrap up Jake gave us: Thunderstorms are particularly likely over the eastern half of Victoria today due to very unstable conditions coupled with good moisture levels and favourable upper dynamics, including upper temperatures. The risk does extend towards Melbourne areas. The western districts are also in with a chance of a storm as a trough moves into that area later today, however the chances of storms developing there are not as high as in central and eastern areas. Severe thunderstorms are likely over the eastern half of the state today, and all severe phenomena are possible. Keep us posted if you see any thunderstorms today!
