THURSDAY & FRIDAY OUTLOOK: THE VOG is still hanging on! So hang in there while it sticks around. The light variable winds will persist which means more hazy foggy skies along with stratocumulus clouds over the state. A front is projected to come our way over the weekend, and that will help a little bit to mix things up. Hopefully it will be accompanied with a little rain to clear the sky, too, but right now it seems like it is a fairly weak system and it will be a little too far north for big impacts. After the front passes, winds will kick up from the east, helping us with the vog for a short period. But models are suggesting more light winds next week after this short periods of east winds. A series of NW and WNW swells will keep north and west shores at advisory heights through the weekend. Sizes may occasionally approach warning levels on Tuesday and Wednesday.
