THURSDAY MORNING WALK...Twenty-eight species were counted on the morning walk, today, December 4. Other than Canada Goose, most plentiful was Carolina Chickadee. The best shows however were provided by the handful of Snow Goose (see the banner above) numerous achrobatic Carolina Chickadee, a few cooperative Downy Woodpeckers, and two Cedar Waxwing that stayed around for closer looks. Ring-billed Gull 1 Herring Gull 2 Rock Pigeon (Feral Pigeon) 11 Red-bellied Woodpecker 1 Downy Woodpecker 4 Northern Flicker 1 American Crow 100 Carolina Chickadee 24 by far the most plentiful species today, by voice and sight, Black-capped do not occur at this location.
