The FIRST area of LOW PRESSURE moves in this afternoon / evening and will be sitting to the north of us. We also know that the winds from a LOW in the northern hemisphere spin in an anti-clockwise direction . . . . . So theyll get slingshotted round the low centre and batter the north / north west of Scotland The 2nd image shows the strike zone Black really really bad - severe travel disruption, loss of power and possibly extensive structural damage Red pretty bad - possible loss of power, some disruption to travel and minor structural damage Amber fairly bad - possibly a wee bit oh everything but shouldnt really be that bad KICKS IN TONIGHT ABOUT 9-10-11pm ISH - AND BLOWS RIGHT THROUGH THE NIGHT UNTIL FRIDAY LUNCHTIME VERY VERY WORST OH THE WINDS ABOUT 1-4am ISH FRIDAY MORNING Mon the STING JET !!
