THURSDAY SERVICE 31ST JULY, 2014. Wow! Every service in Garden is a whole new experience. Yesterday’s service “Testimony Service” as the senior Pastor calls it, surpassed the expectations of many. The rain stopped just when the service was about to kick-off, then I knew we were in for something unique. Immediately Pastor Sam declared the service open, I felt the presence of God already filling the atmosphere. The praise session was so powerful, we sang and danced inspite of the cold weather. Gardeners poured out their hearts in worship to God. It was a hot meal for God. Frank who led the praise took us further in quality worship, we were literarily lost in His presence. Pastor Sam concluded the worship with prayers of appreciation. The Garden Choir joined the hosts of heaven in worshipping God, they sang “Mighty God” by Joe Praise. As they sang, the congregation chorused along and joined them in magnifying God. What a good way to appreciate God for His grace and blessings for the month of July. Pastor Obi further catapulted us into another level of praise, he sang “Champion” and “God is able”. As we kept praising, the presence of God became so strong that every Gardener encountered Him. Because of time, Pastor paused the worship and gave a few word of wisdom. Before inviting Gardeners for their testimonies, he read from Acts 15:12, Psalm 145:1-6. He said in the nearest future, Garden will be having redemption weekend(s), a program where he will take more time to teach on the redemption of Jesus Christ so there will be enough time to fellowship with our Father on Thursdays and Sundays. Then, he invited ten persons to give their testimonies. Guess what…! A large number rushed out. Nneka was delivered from a fatal car accident, the car she was in flipped severally and just when it was about to get into a dich, her phone rang, singing Pastor’s song “way maker” just then, she immediately connected to her way maker (God) and the car stopped mysteriously. Some other testimonies ranged from divine blessings, divine provision and sustenance, healing of broken marriages, release of delayed promotion, change in status, a supernatural increase of G.P for students, changed lives, healing of insomnia, elephantitis, deliverance from death that chased an entire family, double increase, supernatural speed in business, broken family reunited. If you don’t have Pastor’s song on your phone (way maker), I’d advise you download it from the link on our previous post. In conclusion, Pastor wrapped up the service with prayer of thanksgiving, asking our Father to continue what He is doing in our midst. He further proclaimed the priestly blessings on us. Then, he declared the month of August as the “Month of Blessing”. “Okwa Garden”… One service- thousand miracles. God bless you!
