THURSDAY: Taking my car to my faithful mechanic in Harvard....he has watched over my last car and this one perfectly! Getting ready for winter time as well as the usual inspection of brakes, change of various air filters, and rotation of tires etc. Always a fine day to catch up with friends in the Harvard area. Maybe I can even snare a couple of elephant ears from the Swiss Bakery there OR some cinnamon bread! SPOKE WITH MY SISTER IN LAW YESTERDAY - RON WAS TOO WEAK TO EVEN TALK ON THE PHONE - SO PLEASE KEEP UP THOSE PRAYERS FOR HIM & ELLEN AT THIS SPECIAL TIME. I KNOW THEY WOULD APPRECIATE THAT MORE THAN ANYTHING. Have published some delightful picture of Ron from the last couple of years. Even though Ron was already battling cancer, you can see that he was feeling much better than he is at the moment. All of us who know him and love him treasure these moments all the more. Click on each picture for a brief description. And I hope that it does not get TOO awful hot today because it will probably set us up for a nasty storm when the cool front comes through.
