THURSDAY: Will celebrate the 6pm Mass at St. Edward Church in Rockford this evening. Before and after that, will visit Fr. Collins and the priests at Cor Mariae in Rockford. HAD THE CHANCE TO VISIT MY BELOVED BROTHER RON ON WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON & TAKE HIM HOLY COMMUNION. MY NIECE - HIS DAUGHTER CHRISTINE - WAS THERE & ELLEN, HIS LONGTIME CAREGIVING WIFE. GREAT TO SEE HIM AFTER HIS HELPFUL STINT IN A HOSPICE FACILITY. NOW HE HAS HOSPICE RIGHT AT HOME, WHICH IS NEAT! PLEASE KEEP UP YOUR PRAYERS FOR HIM & HIS FAMILY....THEY SO APPRECIATE THOSE GIFTS FROM YOU! Snapped a couple of pictures too because I am so proud of my pretty niece and her Dad, my precious brother, RON. Enjoy your day and if you are Catholic, remember that TOMORROW is a HOLYDAY OF OBLIGATION and you need to get to Mass TONIGHT OR TOMORROW! Feast of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary! Dont you just love the SMILE that Ron has in the picture with Christine? He was so happy to see her, his firstborn child! And I know it was mutual....
