THURSDAY with Pastor Cliff - Call on Him: Things of this world come to us unexpectedly, like a thief in the night. How can we prepare for such times? Be sure to remember to call out to God and boldly expect God to answer. While men find it difficult to call out for help, God invites you (and expects you) to call out to Him in all the times of your life. Can you find one as faithful as our God? A plumber left his truck in front of a store, running, while he quickly went in to get something. When the plumber returned, everything was gone. The police said, “If you don’t find it within two hours, there is not hope.” The plumber and his family prayed to God. Two days later, a voice on the phone told the man where he could find his truck. When he went to the address, there was his truck, in good shape and all his money and paperwork still in the passenger seat. A few tools were missing, but most were still in the truck. God waits. Call on Him.
