TICK PARALYSIS ALERT !!! We have had two cases of tick paralysis at our Arundel surgery in the last two days.Tipsy has been a very sick little cat requiring 24hour monitoring and is at last making slow improvement. Frankie came in this morning vomiting and unable to swallow. nurse Crystal is giving him his clip and tick bath before he rests in his cage. Both patients will most likely be in all weekend. With this rain we are having this is the perfect environment for ticks, so PLEASE do your daily tick searches and use prevention methods such as tick collars or Frontline.
