TILT-SHIFT PROCESSING Historic Fleetwood Church, Brandy Station, Virginia. Fleetwood Church lies just outside Culpeper in the village of Brandy Station, one of Virginias most bucolic counties comprised of rolling farmland, the Blue Ridge Mountains as well as rivers and streams galore. This structure witnessed the largest equestrian battle on the western hemisphere during the June 9,1863 Battle of Brandy Station. Tax records indicate the church was built in 1850 and the Methodist Church records indicate that the congregation was established in 1881. Fleetwoods steeple is a landmark and lies directly across the highway from the Brandy Station Battlefield and two doors down from the Historic Graffiti House which contains the signatures and artwork of both the Confederate and Union armies.
