TIME! See how time flies! It was on this day 4th July, 2009 that I was sent-off from St. Thomas Aquinas having completed my secondary education. When I look back to that day, it appears like yesterday, yet, its now 5yrs gone. Really, time has no wings but it flies swifter than a bird. No wonder our principal used to ring into our ears his favourite Latin mantra TEMPUS FUGIT meaning time flies. See how indeed time flies! A teenager on my graduation day but today, ageing, yet it still appears as though it was yesterday. The questions yearning for answers now are: have I actualy lived up to d expectations within this 5yrs or have I flagrantly wasted it? Do I really manifest a 5yr older experience vis-a-vis my status quo 5yrs back? Well! I may not be fit and proper to give a crystallized self judgement giving d nature of man generally... always jaundiced and opaqued by self-praising esteem. Thats why YOU are there to pass judgement. Nevertheless, it is spirit-sapping and despairing to realise bitterly too, that I am 5 yrs closer to my grave! Yes! 5yrs closer to my terminal because I cannot eat my cake and have it. Mathematically this is correct giving my formula that (X-5=death). Where X is d GodKnows when LifeSpan. Mortals hasten back to nature with intrepidity! Too bad! Let us therefore re-examine our lives and spend this period like though it is our very last because d value of X in my equation is unknown! Good morning!
