TIME T.S.Elliot said “Time present and time past are both perhaps present in the future. And time future is contained in time past. If all time is eternally present then all time is nonredeemable”. They say we can’t go back to our childhood home for everything has changed, so it is no longer what we knew. Time, they say, is the psychological enemy of mankind, concerned with change, aging and mortality. The ways in which even the greatest successes in life, as well as sports, come with a heavy load of failure - - a universal struggle sustained by contradiction, tension and conflict. The past, for most of us, will remain glorious. When does “timeless and suspended” past metamorphose into thoughts remembered? The freedom to make and remake ourselves is one of the most paradoxical human traits. As time flits by we try to re-invent ourselves after our hearts desire intuitively. Yet the focus disappears as we bury ourselves in our mundane lives. Our immense outpourings of desire for a happier future remain a utopian dream alienating our dreary lives. – Vinay-
