TIME TO RUN! We are now a few weeks into the foaling season and have just over 20 new foals on the ground here at Glenlogan. The first few weeks of a newborn foals life is spent in a small yard with just their mother for company. These yards are around 30m x 30m and this time ensures they have enough strength in their legs to be let out into a larger paddock (usually with 3 or 4 other mare and foals for company). This morning we let the first 2 of this years foals out into a bigger paddock and they loved it. The girls from the Foaling Unit were there to film them as they really stretched their legs for the first time in their lives. It is always a super moment to witness!
