TIME TO TEACH Get To The Finish Line Their are some who have lost their joy in 2014, this word is for you! It is often said it doesnt matter how you start a race it only matters how you finish! This is what the world says but the Lord Jesus says something different. Ecclesiastes 9:11-I returned and saw under the sun, that the race is not given to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, neither bread to the wise, nor yet riches to men of understanding, nor yet favour to men of skill; but time and chance happeneth to them all. Understanding: Here King Solomon is trying to show the perplexities in life.What the wisest man to live was trying to get across was; during his entire life he saw many situations that didnt seem fair. We may think those who shouldnt be harmed, hurt or made to endure trials, do, and those whom we believe should, dont! Solution: We must take on the mind of Christ in order to continue moving forward in an environment that doesnt seem fair! Well this may shock you but, Jesus does not think like man, act like man, or respond like man! He is God and He doesnt have to answer...why! This can be a hard pill to swallow if you dont truly know the Lord! he is a good God and He really knows what is best for us, even when we dont enjoy it or like it! He is a Good Father! Matthew 5:45-That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and send rain on the just and on the unjust. Just-(Greek)-innocent, right, equitable Unjust-(Greek)-wicked, treacherous, heathen, unrightous Note: The Word of God teaches us that life may not look fair but we serve a God that sees every part of our lives from beginning to end. We must trust that He will get us to our destiny, as long as we dont get off the track! Many are giving up and they are almost to the finish line, dont stop moving forward, Jesus is in the race with you. He has already secured you a spot at the finish line but you must not give up now! You have the greatest coach in the world, the Holy Spirit! If you stumble, He will catch you! If you fall, He will pick you up! If you get hungry or thirsty in the race, He will provide food and drink! But whatever you do, dont get off the track! The GOOD NEWS: Jesus has already ran on this track! He knows your equipped with everything you need to finish and He will help you cross the finish line! Philippians 1:6-Being confident of this very thing, that He which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ. Get your confidence back!
