TIP!!! Bars touted as being high protein, low carb, natural, fortified, etc. are all processed foods. And relying on these bars/processed foods will sabotage even the most committed “clean eater” because they are so easy for our bodies to absorb. Think of bars/processed foods as partially digested foods, whereas real whole foods take a good amount of energy to digest. This expenditure of real foods explains the significant LASTING fat burn (not merely weight loss) of those people eating real food….not powders, bars, “healthy” cookies, etc. I strongly encourage limiting these over priced, processed protein/snack bars and cookies, especially those with aggressive health claims!!!! **Everything in moderation, always keeping your health on the forefront of your mind....
