TIP OF THE DAY: Alright, summer is officially here and it definitely feels like it in Boston! This being a holiday weekend, I wanted to remind you of my 3 top tips for staying healthy through a weekend usually centered around socializing, food and drinks. Wether you are staying on a strict plan, just maintaining or looking to keep health as a priority this summer, these three tips will help! 1. Have a healthy breakfast in the morning. Eggs or protein shake are great options. It will help to start the day with balanced blood sugar and quality nutrients! 2. Work out before you head out to that bbq. HIIT or a resistance workout is best! 3. Stay hydrated in the high heat (with water!) Our bodys often confuse hunger for thirst.
