TIP OF THE DAY HIND END WEAKNESS one of the most common reason why senior dogs are put down. The main causes are: 1. General muscle stiffness and tightness due to chronic injuries 2. Toxicity that leads to stiffness 3. Nutrient depletion that leads to muscle weakness and stiffness 4. Chronic inflammation due to untreated injuries 5. Lack of appropriate exercise - often too little and not enough strengthening. Similar to humans, there can be 86 year old marathon runners but they have to have it together - nutrition, exercise, maintenance. It has to be regimented and targeted. Would it help if I created a program for your dog together with my physio, chiro? What questions would you have ? PS: If you are looking for some info - here is a good blog on arthritis and stiffness in dogs peterdobias/blogs/blog/11014149-how-to-treat-arthritis-in-dogs-naturally
