TITHING IS OF THE LAW And verily they that are of the sons of Levi, who receive the office of the priesthood, have a commandment to take tithes of the people ACCORDING TO THE LAW, that is, of their brethren, though they come out of the loins of Abraham. Hebrews 7;5. The New Covenant doesnt even speak of tithing,why?, because it is apart of the LAW, and the Levitical law at that. who is a Levite? The Holy Spirit downloaded this in my spirit last night because God is trying to FREE his people from the bondage of the LAW. You may say that its not important, but God surely thinks it is!!! You can not get all of what God has for you while having one foot in the law and one foot in Grace. God is very serious about this as he spoke with me. The bible teaches that the New Covenant is a more excellent one. It teaches us to give cheerfully and willingly, led by the Holy Spirit. When we allow the Holy spirit to lead us in our giving, it changes the dynamics of our harvest. LET ME BE CLEAR..I dont care who doesnt like it, Im going to be obedient to God. Leaders that order tithes in their churches are putting their congregation in BONDAGE. When people are made to pay tithes they give grudgently and that doesnt create a harvest for them. Tithes like the law is aschool master.. SO, now you dont trust people to give, so you put them back under the law??? Nowhere in the bible did it ever say that tithes was money either. God wants his people to enter into his rest and to come out of bondage of the law in alll areas!!!! It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery. Galation 5;1 Christ came and fufilled the law but why do so many Christians still want to be in bondage? One of the main reasons is religion. People will trust God with their sin , but dont believe the Holy spirit can teach folks how to give??????? REALLY! God is requiring total submission! If you want to receive all that God has for you you are going to have to trust him with EVERYTHING. The bible is CLEAR. GALATIONS 3;1 You foolish Galatians! Who has bewitched you? Before your very eyes Jesus Christ was clearly portrayed as crucified.I would like to learn just one thing from you: Did you receive the Spirit by the works of the law, or by believing what you heard. LUKE 6;38 Give, and you will receive. Your gift will return to you in full--pressed down, shaken together to make room for more, running over, and poured into your lap. The amount you give will determine the amount you get back. 2 CORITHIANS 9;6 Remember this: Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously. GALATIONS 6;7 Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows When are we going to make God the Lord of our whole life and stop trying to control it and situations? When are we ever going to enter into his rest, the finished work of Christ? When are we going to stop trying to do what the Holy spirit is sent to do? When are we going to come out of the darkness into his marvelous light? AS FOR ME...Im saved by grace through faith. Its time to take a stand, and stop sitting by with our arms folded and mouths closed!!!!we cant continue to compromise the word to SAVE FACE! It time to set the captive FREE!!!!!
