#TLDM #LoveJourney #RealTalk #Choices As I begin to refocus on some of my branding techniques I cannot negate the fact that some of my changes are just not limited to social media. There is some curriculum/programming that needs completion surrounding a mentor-ship program. As I look at the caliber of young women in today’s society, there is so much lacking in regards to their social skill; as well as their understanding of their own worth. And this ladies and gents, falls upon us. Recently, I was talking to a young woman and explaining to her that defensive walls are always up. Trust a sis I’m quite aware why. It is NOT easy growing up in today’s society with no father figure and everyone around you is in the same position. Your understanding of right and wrong is skewed and based upon your circumstances, so you do the best you can. But there is something wrong with this picture when we associate finances with success; and those who seek it miss that it DOES NOT FILL the emptiness of the heart/soul a spot that God intended to fill. Our daughters are continually selling their souls to both men and women. That is disturbing to me! Recently, I remember a young sis, she had to be no more than 16 telling me that when she needed something she traded her body. My question in all of this melee is where are the father’s? Where are the mother’s? I have learned this--while studying human nature - - when a person is suffering it is difficult at best to pour and instruct a child. There is a part of us that becomes selfish during survival mode and our “best” person is rarely seen. The bottom line, if you cannot see your way out - - it’s hard to teach your child to look beyond the struggle. And so we teach. But teaching may only scratch the service until there becomes a mind change. Mind sets that are erroneous continue to perpetrate improper thinking. Now this might sound like rhetoric or just rambling to you but there is so much social ills in our society. Rather than focusing on ourselves - - seek to uplift and teach others. Seek to understand and seek to grow. Reach one and teach them. But at the same time seek to internally grow. Seek for the answers in your relationship with God. On personal level, I’ve been communicating with my manufacture what’s been bothering me. I cannot save the world but I can assist one person at a time. So Loves, whats YOUR story?
