TMP #1572 Emotions comes from the bond that you have with the other person. If there is no bond, then there will not be no emotional ties regardless of who they are. Whether that be a mother, brother, father, sister, uncle, aunt, cousin, or old friend. Just because you (know) people or know of people, doesnt mean you have a bond with them. A bond needs to be established for emotions to grow and become strong. There are different levels to human interaction, some are only surface, while others are deeply rooted. Bonds that are not tended to, eventually grow cold and die leaving you with distant memories. When the memories arent tended to they eventually grow weak, and there impact on you is eventually nullified. Point is, you have to tend to the emotional bond, or the emotional connection for it to continually have an impact on you. Because once these things are neglected for a long period of time, the emotional connection is eventually weakened. Sometimes weakened beyond repair. When the connection is lost, there will be a disconnect, meaning you had a connection before, now you only have a memory of the connection. It takes 2 people to reconnect the bond. If one party doesnt want to, then eventually the other party will give up, and allow the bond to grow cold and eventually die. Or they will hold on while the other person has clearly moved on. This is called denial. Its like holding on to dead weight. The fact that they cannot accept that the other person has moved on will keep them in a holding pattern until they learn to let go. That is why you can see someone that you once was very close to, but now they feel like total strangers. It is to your benefit to understand what type of connection that you have with people. Because sometimes old connections dont survive the years! I will admit that there are people that will have a profound impact on you, they will breach the inner chambers of your heart, and touch your Soul. A connection like that, you will carry through life. It will give you strength, and allow you to believe that there are people out there who can touch you in such a way that the flame will always burn bright concerning them. People like that are rare, and if you come across such a person or people, then it is likely that you will have a bond with them for life.
