TMP #765 Only a contrite person Knows that shame stings the Heart. If you accept it, it will haunt you with guilt. This is just another design that God has created to keep those who want to do right on the Sacred Path. Dismissing shame that you should feel is to dismiss your own happiness and peace of mind. True happiness comes from knowing you have done right regardless of what you had to face or sacrifice.
