TNM SUPER LEAGUE| A closer look at Wanderers perfomance. The journey has been tough but the nomads have kept faith and played their cards well. Currently nine on the log-table with 45points, Mighty Wanderers FC has played a total of twenty two games; eleven on home and the other eleven on away assignments. Wanderers FC seem to have a better home record as it have won six, drawing four and donated a total of 12 points unlike four wins, five losses and drawing twice it its away games. A critical look at the nomads goal aggregate, one can be quick to conclude that the team has either a good goal keeping or a well composed defence. Infact of all the 15 teams in the super league, Mighty Wanderers is one of the two teams that have conceded the least number of goals; 18 as compared to Karonga & Chikwawa United football clubs which have 46 goals each past their goalkeepers. On the other hand, our striking force leaves a lot to be desired as it has scored only 20 goals for the team as compared to other teams like the third placed Blue Eagles which has netted 42. Nevertheless, the nomads had an outstanding perfomace in the second round. The Lali Lubani boys once dropped down the table but their dedication coupled with some devine intervation fished them out of the relegation zone. As the journey continues in week 24 of the League, Wanderers FC will on Sunday, October 25 host Blantyre United probably at Balaka Stadium. Finishing sixth on the table with a maximum of 46 points is what the nomads might reap suppose they win all their remaining eight games. Once a nomad always a wanderer- the wise pples choice! °°Jay.
