TO ALL FATHERS.MASTERS Dont curse your sons/servants even if they are not wise, obedient, and submissive the way you would like them to, BUT correct them with love and grace. No one in this world is perfect, including your son\daughter. I have heard of a mother who was facing financial issues, and the son could not help for the reasons well known to him, but in anger she held her stomach and said, If indeed i nursed this son in this belly for 9 months, and now he is not helping me, then let that job end....You know what happened, the son got fired and went home to add to the misery that she had...What is the benefit then of such a curse? Bless and curse not, is God’s command The same was true of a prophet in the bible. On this Im talking to you pastors and men and women of God. Elisha cursed his servant Gehazi and thus he had no successor in ministry. He went to the grave with his mantle and anointing. Must your ministry just end with you just because you laid a word to your spiritual sons and daughters when they wronged you in the ministry? This ought not to be so! Be Amoses. He still stayed in ministry with Aaron even after he made a golden calf for the people. Moses cried to the Lord for mercy and I’m sure he forgave him,yet he continued ministering besides him. The Lord himself later judged Aaron and gave him an able assistant Joshua to continue with him in ministry. Elisha was not so.He cursed his assistant and immediate successor Gehazi, thus he had no one to take over from him after he died Let us be wise. Hold your mouth if you have a bad word to speak against anyone. Love does not keep a record of wrongs and it covers a multitude of wrongs For Christs sake, let us not be rush in speaking bad prophetic words on people. When Paul was wronged in ministry,he would just surrender such people to the Lord.He would say Alexander the coppersmith did me much harm, but the Lord will judge him for what he has done.[2 Timothy 4:14]. He never judged him,but left him to the Lords judgement. Paul knew its the Lord who chooses who to judge and who to have mercy on. We have no power to judge but when we speak harsh words over people,as an authority over them, the devil picks those words and uses them to harass the lives of those we cursed. Bless those who persecute you. Dont curse them; pray that God will bless them.[Romans 12:14]. Thats the word of the Lord.Amen
