Sawyer, Chairman, Governance Commission and Dr. Emmett Dennis, President, University of Liberia. Also in attendance will be Minister Axel Addy, Ministry of Commerce and Industry. The Press briefing will highlight preparations to host the Liberian Economic Empowerment and Development Symposium (LEEDS). The main focus of the Symposium will be the formation of a policy direction through the development of an all-encompassing National Empowerment Strategy that will lead to cohesive legislation on economic empowerment and development of Liberian-owned businesses.
