TO ALL MY FB FRIENDS: This is a teammate of Bouw Orozco and the son of my dear friend Kimberly Wahl. Dakota Harding suffered a serious spinal injury last Friday night in the first HS football scrimmage of the year. We are sooo grateful that hes alive and with us. 1/2 inch the other way and he wouldnt be... However he has some paralysis on the right side and were not sure if it will be temporary or not. Hes in a lot of pain due to some nerves rebuilding on his left side...which although its painful,,,,is a great sign. This youngman is amazing both on and off the field. He has the soul of a warrior and the heart of saint. His family is incurring massive bills and expenses even after his insurance pays. We as a community are doing everything we can to try to help all that we can! Many of us know what tragedy and hard times mean through personal experience, and know how hard it is to ask for help....but sometimes how much it truly is needed. Please consider donating...no matter where you are. Every little bit helps. There are so many deserving causes..... I know that. We all try to help where we can. It breaks my heart to know that this young man was in the running for several baseball scholorships as a sophmore and junior. This may not be an option anymore....Hes determined and hes doing his part....I just want to help see him through this and help him get to the next stage!!
