A volunteer writes ღ ☼¸.•´¸.•*´¨) After watching Champ glide around the outdoor pen, I would have named him Panther, or Cheetah...He has the gorgeous glide of a well built dog and his shiny brindle coat gleams with apparent good care. Hes likely very housetrained, peeing a small lake as soon as we were out the door. Hes a strong boy who will benefit from some leash training or may do better in a harness, but once he takes care of all his business he becomes easier to walk. He likes the squirrels in the park and pulls after them a little. Posing for pictures like a pro, he makes soft eye contact and takes his reward treats hungrily. Champ likes to walk close to the wall away from the street as he seems nervous when vehicles come too close, going into a slight crouch as they pass. As other dogs stop by our pen he sniffs a hello but doesnt have much of a reaction. Champs behavior assessment earned him a place in adoptions and hes looking for an experienced family to love.
