Only a week ago, Pattie came into the shelter in perfect health. She allowed staff to handle her and didnt even mind when a stranger tried to take her food, even though she came in as a stray and was probably hungry. Like so many others, Pattie quickly caught the shelter cold and the decision was made to kill her rather than treat her. Pattie is a beautiful, young (2 yrs old) dog who is scared and confused. She needs a patient person who will love her and make her feel wanted. Pattie deserves a chance. A week ago she was a healthy young dog who wound up in a strange, scary place.
