TO GROW SPIRITUALLY. “For He satisfies the thirsty and fills the hungry with good things”(Psalm 107:9) ‘Spiritual discontent can be a blessing in disguise.It is only when a person becomes discontented with himself,that he can begin to improve.Only then can he become the person God intended him to be. Dissatisfaction with your spiritual state can be the prelude to a greater understanding of God as well as a more intimate relationship with Him.You suddenly become aware of the desire for a more realistic experience with God.There is a deep hunger in your heart to know God more intimately and your eyes are opened to your spiritual need. The first step to satisfy your spiritual hunger is to return to the basic elements of your faith.When Christ is at the center of your life as the source of a positive,living strength,your spirit is nourished and you become inspired by a divine power that knows no spiritual hunger or thirst. “I am the bread of life.He who comes to Me will never go hungry,and he who believes in Me will never be thirsty”(John 6:35)’.
