TO: Howard J. Eagle : Howard, most folks, black & white believe in the US Constitution and a separation of church & state. But the Framers were spiritual people. This does not mean a love for or disdain for religion, but the feeling that the new government should not involve itself in matters of religion. In fact, the original Constitution bars any religious test to hold any federal office in the United States. So, why is Lovely campaigning on a platform to bring GOD into the Rochester government?
