TO MY CLASSMATES ... In 1968 we left the hallowed halls of good ole CHS, We knew our class was the best of the best! (Oh yeah, wed tell you that!) Pride in smiles of family and friends.; Our Teachers, Coaches, Principals and Classmates... Remembering not long ago we entered the daunting doors at such an early age. Young Ladies wore white dresses and Grace Kelly heels to match... And the young men had white shirts, ties, and black shoes with neatly pressed slacks. The ceremonial gown was cumbersome to some and guys laughed about their dress; But we all thought---We finally managed to make it through; Now, look out world were here and we can handle you! As far as how much of the world we handled or success we did possess, We have come to realize that not the things or places or goals are best.. It is the memories of those who lived each day with us during our learning year; None of those will ever leave ... the memories for those who are so dear. Our hearts ache for those with whom we shared our laughter and our tears, Who left this earth much too soon and left a void for us to hold dear. As we remember the good and bad, the joyful and the sad... Our hope is that each class will share the closeness we have had. Pleased to be an ALUMNI of Calhoun County High School and a member of the Graduating Class of 1968.
