Deut. 5:29 RSV For the LORD God is a sun and shield; the LORD bestows favor and honor; no good thing does he withhold from those whose walk is blameless. LORD Almighty, blessed is the man who trusts in you. Psalm 84:11,12 NIV Gods Word is to be obeyed, not for fun! All through the Holy Scriptures in the Holy Bible, God Counsels us to obey His Word so we shall be Blessed. When we do His bidding, He Rewards us! Punishment is due to any human being who does not obey the Word of God! Obedience is better than sacrifice. We are implored to fear God and keep (obey) all His Commandments; that it might go well with us and our children for ever! The man who trusts God and whose walk is blameless and who fears the Lord will enjoy all good things; for God withholds no such things from such a man! Therefore, clearly, Gods Love is fully conditional; if you do this, I will do this He Says throughout His Word. May God Grant us the wisdom to listen, hear, obey and be Blessed in the Word of God! Amen!!! Sanctify them by the truth; your word is truth. For them I sanctify myself, that they too may be truly sanctified. John 17:17,19 NIV Father Lord God, please, Sanctify my household and I by Your Truth, which is Your Word. As You Sanctified Yourself o Lord for my sake that I might be truly sanctified, so let it be unto me in Jesus Name I pray with thanksgiving in Jesus Name. Amen!!! The disciples said to him, If this is the situation between a husband and wife, it is better not to marry. Jesus replied, Not everyone can accept this word, but only those to whom it has been given. For there are eunuchs who were born that way, and there are eunuchs who have been made eunuchs by others - and there are those who choose to live like eunuchs for the sake of the kingdom of heaven. The one who can accept this should accept it. Matthew 19:10-12 (NIVUK) The Word of God is potentially for all who will accept, believe and obey; not for everybody willy nilly! The Word of God, like His Love, is not cheap! So, really, the Word of God is targeted at those who love the Lord and will prove their love by obeying the Word of God Sent to them! As for eunuchs, some were born that way, some were made that way by mankind and some choose to live that way for the sake of the Kingdom of God (Heaven)! Accepting the Word of God is a choice never enforced on anyone; but rather for those who are can and are willing to accept it! Help my household and I o Lord; that we might be willing in our hearts to accept Your Word in Jesus Name. Amen!!! (12) For as many as have sinned without law will also perish without law, and as many as have sinned in the law will be judged by the law (13) (for not the hearers of the law are just in the sight of God, but the doers of the law will be justified; Romans 2:12-13 You cannot expect to gain the rewards of the obedient when you sin without the law; you will perish accordingly! Likewise, if you sin in the law. However, its not the hearers of the law that will be justified in the Sight of God; but rather the hearers and doers of the law (the obedient)! So, obedience is key all round with regard to the Word of God! May God Guide our hearts not just to be hearers of the Word and Law; but to be doers as well in Jesus Name. Amen!!!
