TODAY 6PM KLT SOAS: As part of our ongoing efforts to raise awareness about minorities throughout the world, we are pleased to present to you our upcoming event taking place in the Khalili Lecture Theatre at SOAS about the unheard voices of targeted communities in Pakistan. We are honored to be joined by the following panelists: Khalil Yousif: News commentator and broadcaster Ahmadiyya attacks and forced assimilation Rubab Rizvi: Chairlady of the international Imam Hussain Council. Decoding the systematic Shia killings Wilson Chowdry: Chairman of the British Pakistani Christian Association. Christian oppression and religious freedom Ale Natiq: Pakistan Human rights blogger and activist And we will have closing remarks from Syed Zafar Abbas, who has an MA in South Asian studies at SOAS and is a Pakistani analyst. The event will be hosted by SOAS UG student Zain Haider Awan, a Pakistani Education activist. This will be followed by questions and answers with panelists and a video presentation. The event will conclude with a candle lit vigil and an opportunity to record messages of solidarity for victims of minority persecution in Pakistan.
